Below are two hymns used by Bible students which highlight Jesus’s exalted position. It was in 1879 that Zion’s Watchtower published their first hymnbook entitled “Songs of the Bride” reflecting their theological understanding that an end time harvest of the remnant church was taking place prior to the great tribulation. ![]() Indeed, Jesus himself was given an exalted position in those embryonic years. Moreover, do their hymns reflect a biblical concept of true worship? Consequently, while music and moving lyrics can invoke emotional responses, these alone cannot produce worship, rather worship flows from the heart an expression of your inner relationship with God.ĭo Jehovah’s Witnesses experience such worship when singing kingdom songs? There is therefore no such thing as a specialist “choir or worship team”. Consequently, Jehovah’s Witnesses do not use live musicians in their meetings.
